Best Ways for Getting Rid of Recurring Yeast Infection

The yeast infection treatment that is the best for a lot of sufferers will not necessarily be the one that cures your fungal infection. There are so many reasons that people suffer from Candida fungus overgrowth, and the treatment that will work for you is the one that treats your infection from the cause.
After treatment, keep the area dry and well-ventilated. Yeast thrives in warm, damp, dark places. If the area can be left exposed to sun and air, so much the better. Otherwise, loose cotton clothing will allow the skin the breathe and air to reach the infected area.

This recipe is actually very similar to a regular omelet preparation. Just beat all 4 eggs together with your 2 oz. of cream.

Chop the garlic finely and add it to the mixture.
Vinegar - vinegar contains powerful anti-fungal properties. All you do is add a cup of vinegar to a warm bath (but make sure it's not hot) and sit in the bath for a while. As recommended in the 12-hour yeast infection cure booklet, dip a tampon in plain, refrigerated yogurt. Place the tampon into your vagina using your fingertips and leave the tampon inserted for several hours before removing. Repeat the yogurt tampon insertion three times over the next 12 hours. Eat 2 cups of plain yogurt over the next 12 hours and drink plenty of water to flush out the toxins in your body. Yogurt contains active cultures that will act to counteract the yeast production in the vagina.

Grapefruit seed extract is one the best and most versatile yeast infection treatments. A naturally potent anti-fungal agent, it can be diluted in water and applied directly to the affected areas, drank in the same manner, or even used in the washing machine to kill germs and bacteria on your clothes. For cases of thrush, or yeast infections in the mouth, it can be used in a liquid dropper, from which you add to drinks and gargle.

One of the most commonly overlooked causes of yeast infections is an actual allergic reaction to foods containing yeast. Once you notice that you are reacting to such foods, you should counteract it by avoiding foods like breads and sugary foods. You should also take a lot of Vitamin C to help strengthen your immune system; also prevent a recurrence of vaginal yeast infection by drinking plenty of cranberry juice.

Never keep wet (or damp) underwear or sportswear on for longer than is necessary. Whether you have been swimming, at the gym, or, out running, get out of those things as quickly as possible. Shower and wash as above.
